So along time ago, I thought I’d get an old Vespa.

That one there in the back.

So one day I decided it would be a good idea to take apart a perfectly running Vespa P200 and rebuild it. Nevermind I have no formal training in mechanics, Body work painting etc. So one day apart it comes down to the frame.

Once that was done I found some interesting body work.

    So it needed some help.

It needed to be welded straight. (Good thing i knew a guy!)

Then I needed to get the paint off the frame.

I used something called aircraft stripper. Its an incredilbly potent chemical. it causes the paint to bubble up and break apart.

Then you just scrape it off with a putty knife and your mostly down to bear metal.

Slowly the frame starts to look clean. but it still needs to get media blasted.

At the same time the engine was getting some work too.

    UPDATE:
Finally some pics up soon of the freshly Powder coated body.
